We have discovered we are getting too carried away with what the music video will be like that we are forgetting to develop our artists, their personalities and unique selling points. We like the overall colour scheme and idea of this music video (if you know that I'm lonely). However we need to try come up with scenes we can film in the studio and can set up as the weather in November is bad. We could set up a fake Photo Booth of the two people together.
What we were thinking and discussing for the Artists:
- Potentially into photography (vintage, digital old cameras), some of the video can be shot by them in this way showing there interest and we could also reflect this on the instagram.
- They could make there own videos (direct them) and handhold a lot of the videos in the music video.
- We want to include superimposition.
- If we can pair the style with cool cameras if could have something to it. The 90s is due a comeback vhs. There could be a DIY vibe to the video (rekindle). Doing what they have accessible? Homemade? The way they made it could make it their style.
_ could be environmental (recyclable stuff) recycle the set.
This music video by boy Pablo shows the kind of photography ideas we have. We like the ripped up photo montages.
We also discussed auditioning and who we would like to audition. We want to see the girls lip syncing and the boys with a guitar just to see who is more comfortable in-front of the camera. We are going to audition for girls : Millie and Blue. And then for boys : Luke, Felix and George. In the audition we will get a chance to see how they are infant of the camera and will get to create combinations seeing who looks good together potentially.
