Feedback from initial idea

 I played Grayson by Cameron Lane to the class and teacher to see if I could get any feedback. I was told it was clearly a female lead which I agree with as it has a strong female vocal. I was told that creating a video for a singular artist is much harder than creating one for a band as there is less to shoot or point the camera at, however I think I would much prefer a singular artist than a band. What was interesting is that we talked about promotion of artists and how important it is. If the marketing of the song is not good then no one will listen to it in the first place. An album cover often is what attracts the listener in the first place (the reason I picked tis song was because the cover appealed to me and was a fun colour). We also talked about how the name of bands is crucial to whether you will get listens and how it needs to be interesting enough with ought being controversial.
