Idea development

 We would have decided we want to start the video with a birds eye view of hands on a mix pad playing the intro as it is an electronic beat. 

We could also have a shot starting from his shoes and panning up to see him playing. 

We found this music video which shows similar themes of how we want the bedroom part to be as well as possibly topsy-turvy room. It is a music video by Sody and shows a male and female perspective.

When talking to the set designer we discovered that glow in the dark stars would not glow on camera. Therefore instead we have decided to use a projector instead that would projects similar shaped fake looking stars that we can see. This would also add to and create a different more dreamy aesthetic for the girl as supposed to the grungy more machine like boys area on the floor. 

This would make decorating the top bunk more simple and we would not have to wonder about wallpaper and decor as much as the stars would be the centre of the theme and the main image. This would really help to simulate that the girl singers head is in the clouds as not only is she on the top bunk but she seems like she is in space. 

The idea of using smoke machines also came up in the floor set for the boy. Making the bunk bed a fun kid like imaginary space would help elevate the idea therefore making the floor seem very engine like and smoke machines would help aid this.
