Today I started editing the music video. I started with the beginning in small sections. We are using adobe premier pro which we used last year for title sequences so I was quite familiar with the programme. I began by planning out a rough structure on paper of what scenes I wanted in what parts of the song and what made sense from what we shot on the day. This made it easier for me to begin editing as I was not overwhelmed by clips. I only managed to make a start and nothing is final but what I have so far looks nice. I am starting with a rough cut and will add the narrative shots in later. This way we at least have one full cut of the video and can pop shots in throughout. It is slightly difficult as it is a slower song and cutting too much looks funny so I have to rely on the shots more than cuts.
